Light is the most important part of every photo we take, it's
what creates everything that we see and affects how it appears. Light is what allows us to see. It is what shapes and colors every object we can see with out eyes, it creates depth, mood, and color. Basics of Light: 1. Exposure Exposure is the brightness or darkness of the scene 2. Quality To explain this I'm gonna tell you about the picture on the left. It shows how the light effects the picture because you can see the difference when its dark and when less light is included and when its light where there's too much light for you to see the picture. 3. Directions Light travels in a direction, it can be hard and soft but the sun is a single light source and that light travels in straight lines radiating out from it. Also it may bounce of things. |
